Hi Bloggers,
This post is to catch up from the last few weeks because I’ve been really slack. No excuses, just slack.
Card No. 1
“Have a Lovely Day”
This card was designed for Jacqui to use for card classes at Kookaburra Crafts. The flowers have been die cut from an older Joy Crafts die and hand painted with Silks Acrylic Glazes in “Fire Opal”.
Ingredients: Cheery Lynn “Flourish Leaf Strip” B178, Joy Craft Flower 6002/0025, Our Daily Bread “Beautiful Borders” CSBD51, Spellbinders “Framed Labels Eighteen” 3D embossing folder, JustRite “Birthday Vintage Labels Four” CR-04580, Silks Acrylic Glaze, rhinestones, white A4 cardstock and red Bazzil cardstock.
Card No. 2
“Wishing You Everything Happy on this Special Day”
Another card for classes at Kookaburra Crafts. The flowers have been die cut and shaped and the micro beads used for the centres of the flowers.
Ingredients: Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles S5-147, Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles S5-161, Black Eyed Susan Strip B338, Cheery Lynn Wreath Strip B216, JustRite Birthday Vintage Labels Four CR-04580 and pearls.
Card No. 3
“Thinking of You”
This card was made by request for a friend who was wanting a Thinking of You card for her brother.
The fishing bits have been cut from white cardstock and coloured with copic markers.
Ingredients: Kaisercraft 6 1/2” Paper Pad “Vintage Timeless”, JustRite “Large Fancy Sentiments” CR-03815, Cottage Cutz “Fishing Set” CC4x4-143, scraps of designer paper from my scrap box, brown 12x12 Bazzil cardstock, Ivory A4 Cardstock, bronze brads and kitchen string.
Cards No. 4, 5 @ 6
“Get Well”
Card 4 was made for my Father-in-Law who ended up in hospital due to a recurring health issue and I just wanted to give him something to let him know that we were thinking of him.
Cards 5 and 6 where made for Kookaburra Crafts class. I showed Jacqui a pic of Ian’s card and she loved it, so it became a class card.
Ingredients: Card 4 the designer papers where loose sheets amongst my 6 1/2” Kaisercraft paper pads, so I’m no too sure exactly which pads they came out of. Cards 5 and 6 the designer paper is from Pion Designs and the images on all three cards were from Pion Designs. Bazzil cardstock backed the designer paper for all of the cards and the die cuts are from Spellbinders Opulent Ovals. The sentiment is from JustRite “Large Fancy Sentiments” CR-03815. Pearls and ribbon were also used.
Card 7
“Happy Birthday”
This card didn’t start out as a card. I started out playing with the stamps for the Heartfelt Creations Flower die Sun Kissed Fleur. I stamped the image, die cut them, coloured them and then thought they looked way too pretty to put in a box for “one day”, so I had to make a card to go with them. It is now going to be used in Kookaburra Crafts card classes.
Ingredients: JustRite “Large Fancy Sentiments” CR-03815, Heartfelt Creations “Sun Kissed Fleur PreCut Set” HCPC 3533, Heartfelt Creations “Sun Kissed Fleur” HCD734, Spellbinders “Fancy Lattice” S5-152, Joy Crafts “Oval French Lily” 6002/0254, 8mm Silver Acrylic Round Flatbacked Dotted Rhinestone Gems, Spellbinders “Classic Triple Scallop” E8-003 & lots of pearls.
Ok, all caught up…..I think! I’m going to have to get into a better routine of blogging as I go, so I don’t have to go back through looking up names of die sets and stamp sets for a heap of cards.
Thanks for dropping by, please leave a comment so that I know you’ve visited my blog. I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at my cards as much as I’ve enjoyed making them.
Have a wonderful day!
Cheers
Jenelle
Wow you have been super busy, more lovely cards. Julie x
ReplyDeleteThanks Julie. They are from over a few weeks, I don't put up class cards until they've been taught and I am tending to let them build up and then blogging in bulk, but I don't think that's working too well for me because then I have to think hard about what I've done and used....lol
DeleteI've been loving your work on Cheery Lynn it's just amazing.
